The Ballet Costume I was an American Girl of Today outfit released in 1995 and retired in 1999. Retail cost was $22.

The outfit is representative of the Sugar Plum Fairy from the Nutcracker Suite.


One-piece light pink leotard. Attached tutu. Decorative trim and pearls on bodice. Sheer puffed sleeves.


Sheer iridescent wings that attach to the back of the leotard.


Plastic tiara with pearl bead trim.


Plastic six-pointed flower wand with pearl bead trim.


Pink ballet slippers; they have no ribbons and slide onto the feet.


White tights.
