Cape Island Dress.

The Cape Island Dress (also known as Addy's Cape Island Dress) was introduced to Addy's Collection as a Short Story outfit in 2003 and retired in 2005. It is associated with the short story Addy's Summer Place. Retail cost was $24 and later $26.

Dress

Pale salmon short sleeved linen dress. Boat neck; pleated front bodice with lined back. Black corded trim around neckline, waistband, in pattern on skirt front, and around sleeves and cuffs. Velcros up the back.

Ribbon

Pink, grey, white, and green wide checked silk stiff ribbon. Grey looped trim on edge and v-cut at ends.

Trivia

• The dress was designed from an original dress from on display from 1865 in the Wisconsin Historical Society's Online Collection of children's clothing. [1]
