Aunt Cornelia's adorable but very mischievous pup, Jip, loved to play in the park. Samantha had to hold tight to his leash or else he'd take off at a run. In a busy city, a little dog like Jip could easily be kicked by a horse or run over by a trolley or motorcar.

Trivia[]

  • While called "Samantha's Dog" in product name during BeForever, Jip actually belongs to Cornelia Edwards.
  • Jip is part of Happy Birthday, Samantha!, but he was not produced as a product with her initial birthday collection; instead she received the Mohair Teddy Bear. (This may be because Molly had Bennett.)This meant that until Jip's release, Samantha's birthday collection was the only one without any pet represented; however, he was included in all versions of her Paper Dolls.
  • Jip, as confirmed on the trading card, is a mixed-breed mutt with cocker spaniel, terrier, and beagle backgrounds.
