Skates and Gear
The Skates and Gear was a My American Girl accessory released in 2013 and retired in 2018. Retail cost was $34.
Skates[]
Blue and purple in-line skates. Blue textured fabric on top with purple vinyl accents on the toes and heel. White AG star designs printed on sides of skates. Skates close with silver velcro straps. Molded gray plastic base of skates with purple plastic frame covering wheels. Each skate has four clear plastic wheels. The right skate also has a flat plastic brake in the back. This brake helps dolls stand upright.
Helmet[]
Light gray plastic helmet with dark purple and blue stripes down the middle. American Girl logo in purple on right back side of the helmet. Ventilation holes on top of helmet and foam pads around inside rim. Purple elastic strap is attached on the left side of helmet. On the right side, a blue plastic piece holds the strap.
Wrist Guards[]
Silver nylon wrist guards with blue vinyl accents and thumb holes. Guards wrap around wrists and attach with velcro.
Knee Pads[]
Silver padded nylon knee pads with blue vinyl accents on the kneecap area. Pads attach to legs with silver elastic straps and velcro.
Trivia[]
- The Trail Bike did not come with a helmet of its own and was advertised with the helmet from this set.
