The Forever Friends series is an Scholastic-published four-book series launched in 2018 as part of the partnership between the company and American Girl, with the last book published in 2019. The books were written by Crystal Velasquez.
No products associated to the series were sold through American Girl.
Overview[]
The series focuses on four characters--Jasmine, Madison, Keiko, and Sofia--who are connected to each other through their love of animals and volunteer at an animal shelter. Each book is a early-chapter reader book with approximately ninety pages, and there are accent pictures but no other internal pictures. The books are considered a Scholastic Reading Level Grade 3 (Growing Reader) and aimed at second to third graders.
