Historical Character Craft Kits were craft kits that focused on items that Historical Characters could have possibly created during their time periods. Each kit came with the majority of supplies needed to make the items, with some additional components addressed.
Craft kits came in burgundy floral print boxes and sometimes with pink tissue paper. Instruction books were full color and lightly touched on the historical significance of the craft being made. Components offered enough to make generally one to two projects.
Craft kits were only available for the first five Historical Characters: Felicity Merriman, Kirsten Larson, Addy Walker, Samantha Parkington, and Molly McIntire. Due to Samantha, Molly, and Kirsten having kits that had once been included in the Portfolios of Pastimes, they had two each as opposed to Felicity and Addy's one.
