Dorinda Brassy

One of the campers at Camp Gowonagin.

Miss Butternut

The camp director of Camp Gowonagin. She appears in Molly Saves the Day and the Short Story: Molly Marches On.

Russ Campbell

A student at Montgomery High School and the senior football star. He is adored by Jill McIntire and Dolores.

Frank Culver

Helen's and Eleanor's father, as well as Molly's grandfather.[1] He owns a farm with his wife Grammy, though he does not grow crops anymore. He does not like changes and pretends that the war doesn't exist.

Grammy Culver

Helen's and Eleanor's mother, as well as Molly's grandmother. She owns a farm with her husband Frank Culver. She is a good cook and dislikes arguments.

Mary Lou Dobbs

Mary Lou is a classmate of Molly McIntire, Linda Rinaldi, and Susan Shapiro.

Dolores

Jill's best friend. Ricky McIntire has a crush on her, which Molly exploits to embarrass him in Meet Molly.

Woody Halsey

Woody Halsey is a classmate of Molly McIntire, Linda Rinaldi, and Susan Shapiro.

Alison Hargate

Alison Hargate is a classmate of Molly McIntire, Linda Rinaldi, and Susan Shapiro. Her family is rich and Alison is an only child, meaning she gets a lot of items her classmates don't get. Although she doesn't try to show off, simply telling the truth can lead to others resenting her.

She was played by Josette Halpert in the film. She appears as a slightly snobby girl.

Mrs. Hargate

The mother of Alison Hargate.

Irene

One of the campers at Camp Gowonigin. She was only seen in Molly Marches On.

Arnold Kay

The manager at the Weston airfield, seen only in A Spy on the Home Front.

Miss LaVonda

A woman who teaches tap dancing.

She was portrayed by Eliza Jane Scott in the film.

Grace Littlefield

Grace is a classmate of Molly McIntire, Linda Rinaldi, and Susan Shapiro. Grace is the first to give up and complain about knitting socks in Molly Learns a Lesson.

Marie

One of the campers at Camp Gowonagin. Marie was placed on the Blue Team during the camp's Color War.

Melody Moore

A film actress helping to rally support during World War II.

Howie Munson

Howie is a classmate of Molly McIntire, Linda Rinaldi, and Susan Shapiro. He loves multiplication bees, and sits behind Molly. He is slightly proud. His real name is "Howard."

Patty

One of the campers at Camp Gowonagin. Patty is friends with Dorinda Brassy and was placed on the Red Team during the camp's Color War.

Aunt Primrose

Emily's aunt. She becomes ill with pneumonia when Emily arrives to America and has asked Mrs. McIntire to take Emily in while she recovers from her illness.

Aunt Primrose only appears in The Light in the Cellar, although she is first mentioned in Happy Birthday, Molly! and referenced in Brave Emily.

Anna Schulz

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Schulz and a friend of Molly McIntire's. Anna is considered as being Molly's "best summertime friend".

Fritz and Heidi Schulz

The parents of Max and Anna Schulz. The Schulzes reside on a farm next to the Culvers, and Mr. Schulz works as both a farmer and at a garage in Weston, Illinois.

Max Schulz

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Schulz. Max works at the Weston airfield, checking tires and filling the planes with gas.

Shirley

One of the campers at Camp Gowonagin. Shirley was placed on the Blue Team during the camp's Color War.
