Is it possible this page should be removed from the main sidebar, as it's only one doll, not a line of dolls? And especially since the article is a stub? It'd make more sense to just give it a category, or at least move it to one of the sidebar flyouts. Shawn (talk) 19:13, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
No, not really[]
I think that we should keep the page the way it is. And in a way, it is a line of dolls, as you can choose which Bitty Baby you want. Well, maybe not. 98.132.183.97 17:43, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- This was back when the article was a stub; it has since been filled out. --Nethilia 07:57, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Unusual Bitties[]
On AG Collectors, a collector recently received some Bitty Baby dolls from Jill's Steals & Deals (in the end of Aug I believe) that were hybrids of Bitties prior and after the 2013 revamp, here: http://w11.zetaboards.com/agcollectors/topic/11321538/1/#new Directly from the poster:
The dolls pictured on the sale page were the new head mold Bitties (issued starting late 2013.) However, when the dolls began arriving, people realized they'd been sent the old, retired head mold instead. Not only that, though. Here's a list of all that's weird about these Jill's bitties:
- All the Bitties are the old head mold, despite having been shown in the sale images as new head mold.
- They all come in new-head-mold era pink boxes.
- They also don't come in standard meet sleepers. Instead, all of them are dressed in the Snowy Dreams PJs as their meet outfits (and they do have cloth diapers on underneath.)
- Some of these old head mold dolls also come on the old bodies (no star on the chest.) However, many if not most of these old head mold dolls come on new-head-mold-era bodies (star on the chest.)
There's also pictures of the odd Bitties. I think this is possibly noteworthy, say in trivia. It's different than, say hybrids from MCM or Frankendolling. Nethilia (talk) 15:08, September 17, 2015 (UTC)
